Flo Lugli is an innovative, results-oriented executive with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the global hospitality, travel and related technologies businesses for publicly and privately held companies. A well-known expert on travel industry distribution, travel technology, and digital presence, Lugli was recently recognized as one of the most influential women in hospitality technology by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP).
Lugli is a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, the leading source for global hospitality expertise, represented by over two hundred of the industry’s most respected professionals from across six continents. Lugli has also been recognized as one of the “Most Powerful Women” in Travel for 7 years by Travel Agent Magazine and among the top 75 hotel executives and top 10 technology experts by Lodging Magazine.
As Principal of Navesink Advisory Group, LLC, Lugli leverages her vast experience, industry expertise and thought leadership to help businesses drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
In addition, Lugli is Non-Executive Chairman of Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, encompassing over 550 upscale and luxury hotels across 76 different countries, and is on the board of iVvy.com, a leading Enterprise SaaS technology company, providing cloud-based solutions for Event management, Venue management and Supplier management with real-time procurement for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events). She also serves as an advisor to Simplenight, a Global Experience Platform™ (GEP™) providing cloud-based distribution, inventory management, merchandising and technology solutions for the travel industry; ResortPass, a venture-funded platform that provides significant ancillary revenue to hotels and resorts by offering their under-utilized pool, spa, and fitness amenities to a new channel of day guests; and is on the advisory council of MMGY Global, a $55 million marketing communications and technology company with 11 global offices, and the world’s largest integrated marketing company specializing in the travel, tourism and the hospitality industries.
Most recently, Lugli served as the executive vice president of marketing for Wyndham Hotel Group, where she led the global strategy for customer engagement and market positioning for the company and oversaw brand marketing, distribution, ecommerce, loyalty, public relations/communications, research and central reservations systems strategy. During here time there, she drove a $100M digital transformation for the company. Prior to Wyndham, Lugli held executive level positions with privately held Travelport Limited (and its predecessor Galileo International), one of the world’s largest global distribution system providers.
Prior to 2002, Lugli held executive level business development and operations positions with WizCom International and its parent company Cendant Corporation. She joined Cendant in 1987 as a part of its Hospitality Division, serving in several sales and marketing roles.
As part of her consulting practice, Lugli has served as interim CCCO, Americas for Radisson Hotel Group, as interim CCO for DHISCO, and as President for cheapcaribbean.com. Lugli also served as a board member for buuteeq, Inc., until its acquisition by The Priceline Group. She has served two terms as president of HEDNA, on the advisory board of TheBeatLive and as a member of the advisory board of the BTN Group. Lugli also serves as a member of HSMAI’s America’s board of directors and, while at Wyndham Hotel Group, served as a board member and Chairwoman for Room Key, a joint venture between 6 of the largest hotel companies. Additionally, she is a board member for Joe’s House, a nonprofit organization providing a nationwide online service that helps cancer patients and their families find lodging near treatment centers.
